I am an avid reader, it’s what I do on my down time, it’s what I do when I am bored, it’s what I do to get motivated. Reading books is a great way to feed the mind, to build up energy and get inspired. Not only are these books educational, they are motivational, it will drive your ambition through the roof. Rich Dad Poor Dad was the first book I read, and it changed my life. I was so impressed with his writing, I bought all of his books, and I’ve read a lot more of his books than what I recommend you read. The 3 Rich Dad books I suggest are my absolute FAVORITES of all of his books. Retire Young Retire Rich was my absolute favorite. I strongly suggest you go pick up these books, or at least a few of them and get started!
The Books I recommend:
The Art Of The Deal
Rich Dar Poor Dad
Rich Dad’s Retire Young Retire Rich
Cashflow Quadrant: Rich Dad’s Guide to Financial Freedom
Rich Dad’s Guide to Investing: What the Rich Invest in, That the Poor and the Middle Class Do Not!
The Richest Man In Babylon
Why We Want You To Be Rich
If you have any questions on any of the books, just ask in the comments below! These books will change your life!

Hey Andrew, I have read most of those books, and I fully agree that Rich Dad Poor Dad will change people's lives. It is such an easy-access introduction how money works. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to break loose from the 'earn, pay tax, spend' cycle. And everyone should want that!
I will be sure to pick up the two Trump books since I haven't read those yet. Meanwhile here are some other suggestions that people might be interested to read:
Personal development books:
- The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People – Stephen Covey
- How to Make Friends and Influence Peopl – Dale Carnegie
Money books:
- Think and Grow Rich – Napoleon Hill
- The Science of Getting Rich – Wattles
- Creating Wealth – Robert G. Allen
- Multiple Streams of Income – Robert G. Allen
I know, I completely agree, it is a great introduction to the system! The Art Of The Deal is cool because Trump explains how is life went down, on an hour to hour, day to day process, some phone calls, negotiatins he did, etc..
Why we want you to be rich is amazing as well, lots of awesome facts, etc…
have you played the cashflow games?
Yup, I was addicted to it! It's great
Andrew, One of your stories was posted on a forum i frequent. The forum was started as a pre-req for a new author MJ DeMarco. He is writing a new updated personal finance book that is geared towords what is called "the fastlane" to becoming wealthy. It was derived from RDPD and all these other "slowlane" ways of getting wealthy. The book is focused on creating systems to get to the top and stay there. Not by working in a MLM but by creating one, Not by buying a franchise but by building a store and being a franchisee.
Check it out, we have a ton of info over there, you might even make a post or two!
here is the thread where you were posted about:

Definitely interesting, and I'll have to check out the book! I'll signup on the forums soon too
Yea There is a good community. I do e-commerce stuff so I post tidbits every now and again, the is a wide range of folks over there. I am sure some of the newer guys would love to hear what you have to say. Look forward to seeing ya, meanwhile ill read through your blog some more just to see what is new.
Reminds me of how much i need to do my blog that has been left untouched.
Awesome! I'll def be sure to check it out, just keep in touch!
Blogging is the probably the most productive thing I've done in a bit… haha
Yeah The problem is I am a terrible writer. I do e-commerce and everything content based is farmed out. Funny you had talked about the problems with indians and bemodel. I have some friends that had the same issues for around the same amount of funds as you. Same deal nothing got done right. I typically only use US/Ca contractors.
I do have some questions on what numbers you needed to show investors though. I want to expand what I am doing but def need investment money to do it. Where is the best plavce to talk? Email?
I feel like I am terrible writer sometimes too, I usually need some venting or inspiration to blog, so I can only blog when I am pissed or inspired
Check out my "How I raised the money" article, I include the documents.
Saw that after i wrote my post. I was over thinking the docs. Obviously stats estimation isn't the easiest, how did you end up estimating stats and revenues? was their some value or formula to it?
BTW thanks for signing up, i think it gives a lot of the new guys something to look forward too.
Stats was the tough one, I did a big ass excel file with some complicated formulas actually based on my experience and how much traffic, estimated users, estimated sign ups & conversions, ad views, and earnings.
All based off conservative and realistic numbers of what I think I am able to push.
